Sahih International: What is the Inevitable Reality?

Sahih International: And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality?

Sahih International: Thamūd and ‘Aad denied the Striking Calamity.

069.005

Sahih International: So as for Thamūd, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast].

069.006

Sahih International: And as for ‘Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind

069.007

Sahih International: Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.

069.008

Sahih International: Then do you see of them any remains?

069.009

Sahih International: And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin.

069.010

Sahih International: And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity].

Sahih International: Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship

069.012

Sahih International: That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it.

Sahih International: Then when the Horn is blown with one blast

Sahih International: And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow –

069.015

Sahih International: Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,

069.016

Sahih International: And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm.

069.017

Sahih International: And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].

069.018

Sahih International: That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed.

Sahih International: So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record!

Sahih International: Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account."

Sahih International: So he will be in a pleasant life –

Sahih International: In an elevated garden,

069.023

Sahih International: Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near.

069.024

Sahih International: [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."

069.025

Sahih International: But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record

Sahih International: And had not known what is my account.

069.027

Sahih International: I wish my death had been the decisive one.

069.028

Sahih International: My wealth has not availed me.

069.029

Sahih International: Gone from me is my authority."

069.030

Sahih International: [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him.

Sahih International: Then into Hellfire drive him.

069.032

Sahih International: Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."

Sahih International: Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great,

Sahih International: Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.

069.035

Sahih International: So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

069.036

Sahih International: Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds;

069.037

Sahih International: None will eat it except the sinners.

069.038

Sahih International: So I swear by what you see

069.039

Sahih International: And what you do not see

069.040

Sahih International: [That] indeed, the Qur’an is the word of a noble Messenger.

Sahih International: And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe.

069.042

Sahih International: Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.

069.043

Sahih International: [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

Sahih International: And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,

069.045

Sahih International: We would have seized him by the right hand;

069.046

Sahih International: Then We would have cut from him the aorta.

069.047

Sahih International: And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him.

069.048

Sahih International: And indeed, the Qur’an is a reminder for the righteous.

069.049

Sahih International: And indeed, We know that among you are deniers.

069.050

Sahih International: And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers.

069.051

Sahih International: And indeed, it is the truth of certainty.

069.052

Sahih International: So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
